“Hello, this is HUGE.” Greetings from a stellar full-service interactive agency. Clients include but are not limited to: Barneys NY, HBO, IKEA, Target and Under Armour. This place is a powerhouse.
Huge is located in Dumbo, Brooklyn. They have recently expanded their space for their growing company. It’s very modern and spacious with open ceilings and concrete floors. The fun bold graphics decorate the walls with signs that says things like “We’re Huge” and they even have a “Money” calendar.
Check out these busy bees. Areas of expertise are divided by designers, art directors and developers. Most of the creative directors we met sat against the wall. Everyone is built into the open space, unlike many of the agencies we have visited.
How hard can you party? Huge’s Holiday party had a rollerblading/skating theme. One employee was even sent to the hospital due to a roller accident.
If we’re remembering correctly, they had this piece of concrete blown up to create a stairwell. If we’re not correct, everything sounds better when you blow shit up.
This is an open space and kitchen area for employees to come work, collaborate and eat!
Everything is white and black at Huge, except for John Jackson’s desk. John is known for his “break up” incident when he left LA for NY. He created billboards around the city and you could even follow his Dear John letters online. If there is one thing we have learned on this trip, side-projects are very important! It’s what sets you apart from others.
Graphics like these fill the space with humor. Their board meeting rooms are all have funny names too.
